Well, that's a valid perspective.
Although in my case I have been a programmer since 1986, I have a lot of experience in debugging, debugging in many different environments and languages. So believe me, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
I know it’s shocking, and I would probably react like you did a few years ago. But I have a motto: if you discover something good, share it. So, when I discovered that debugging can be almost completely cut off and how I wasted my time debugging, I had to share it. It is not a process of night / day, but of continuous improvement with the help of other colleagues. And moreover, I have seen how it affected those who followed it vs those who did not follow it.
I had a lot of material on practices that help prevent debugging, but that doesn’t need to be read. I also appreciate your comment because I'm sure there are many more people who think the same as you, just as I did, even though they haven't commented. So, here's a suggestion:
