No developer works in perfect isolation, and the developer vigilante must form alliances and watch for attacks.
When the Developer Vigilante begins their movements in the shadows to bring order to the code outside the law, they know they are not alone. Just as in the codebase there is a hero who makes it easier to meet expectations, they also know there are actors who try to make it difficult to advance at every step. And for this reason, the developer vigilante looks beyond their team and also seeks allies.

The vigilante developers await in the shadows, fighting for the codebase. They know a truth that many don’t want to see: no hero works alone. And the battlefield is very dangerous. It’s not just bad code, but it’s also full of corners, nooks, and long hallways full of technical debt. They know that the smallest oversight will cause everything to collapse. And that’s why they seek their allies. Yet, they also face one terrible reality: for every champion of clean code, there lurks an enemy who spreads chaos.
