Reading that it was sketched out at a ski resort sounds bad. XD It was in fact the culmination of another meeting, several conferences and a lot of mails between the assistants. The objective and what happened in that day was more a strategy to claim that software development was wrong and we should solve it. And that is the spirit of Agile.

Although, in the original article I miss completely a small hint of critical thinking about what most companies do is not a smart movement. That they do what they believe that is convienient, not what really need. And they disguisse it as Agile, not not because Agile is wrong, because they do not know what are doing. Because he is claiming based in his own experience what is Agile, which many the people would disagree. And in fact, do not even shows how the original Agile philosophy goes against what he is showing.

But of course, this is my point of view, and does not need to be the same from anyone. Basically I felt dissapointed that someone with 300k followers, did not take the time to understand the real purpose of Agile and just blamed it for all the bad practices that bad professionals do. I guess that that were my expectations, and it is not fair to expect the same from anyone.
