Hi Roman, it might seem challenging to implement these practices in some environments, but they are far from being effective only in rare circumstances.

For example, the book Accelerate and the DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics support these practices. These studies show that techniques like Trunk-Based Development, pair programming, and reducing the number of manual gates (such as code reviews) lead to better outcomes. These findings are based on hundreds of thousands of cases.

Sorry if I couldn’t convince you. This article was intended for those experiencing a high number of defects and looking for ways to tip the balance in their favor. For more details, I would have needed to include various studies, which are already covered in the sources I mentioned.
