Hi Neuromod,

I have several articles around the same concept.

Sadly, the idea that Agile is wrong, or even, it should be killed, is well spread.

But the article title is not clickbait, rather a first try to change the perception of the reader. While dozens of articles on Medium are trying to blame the Agile itself, as something wrong in design, despite who is using it, I am personalizing it about how it is failing in your case.

The analysis is the second part of that intentional change of perception. Because, often when people try to solve the "Agile" problem came up with solutions, instead they come with processes that make the Agile rigid.

The overall problem is that we are putting the focus in the wrong place. And that is why I focus on the collaborationist. On what, most of us, end up doing that sink agile even further, although good intentions.

As far as I know, there is no easy solution, if it was, someone already had found it and published and the problem would have disappeared a long time ago.

That is why, instead of focusing on one solution, I focus on a change of perspective: stop trying to change people like Freud, instead, do little changes that have ripple effect.

I have other articles, one with a checklist of 20 items that any software development should satisfy.

Note: This article does not come from academia. Sadly, Academia does not like to research these kinds of topics. Luckily, the DORA report has changed it. In my case, it comes from actual practice. In fact, the content of this article was a turning point in my career.
