Hi Matt,

I tried a lot. The next course that I teach, I have the chance to do it a lot better, but far from perfect.

The problem is that most of the students are aiming to the minimum grade to pass (here is 5/10), but because teaching is only my paid hobby (I work as a consultant), I explain to them how they will feel in the work, if they take care of their code, or how miserable they will feel and live, if they did not. Many appreciate that, but most of them discard it because it does not count in the evaluation.

But, thank you so much for the understanding :_)

BTW: It does also happen in companies, unfortunately. I have seen even justify not “losing time cleaning to be more productive”. Several months later, become really slow.
